Our mission remains steadfast and solid. The mission of AidsBeGone.org is to find a vaccine to stop the spread of AIDS and provide the drugs that allow folks with the HIV virus to live satisfying lives, INTERNATIONALLY. Two AidsBeGone.org shows have taken place in London in 2010. We are organizing the first US show in Los Angeles, CA, USA in April of 2011.
I collected various news reports about the progress made in research for an AIDS vaccine. A recent development was reported in November 24th 2010 by the Los Angeles Times: ‘Daily Pill is found to sharply cut HIV risk in gay men.’
The article says that taking a single pill containing two HIV drugs reduces the possibility of getting the AIDS virus. A routine regimen of the pills ensures a 70% chance you won’t contract HIV; in the same way that one takes Tuberculosis or Malaria medication when going to areas deeply infected by these two diseases one is made immune to symptoms of malaria and Tuberculosis by the medication.
Personally I want your normal vaccination like a small-pox or measles or polio vaccination. You get it when you are young and that’s it you are protected for 10, 15 or 40 years whatever.
AIDS is an international problem; over the years money, both private donations and government grants have been allocated to help study and try to solve the mystery of AIDS.
For over 30 years, AIDS has been killing men, women and children. It is an indiscriminate Grim Reaper. Since the recognition of AIDS I have donated my time and tried to be helpful in the fight against AIDS.
When I first moved to Atlanta, it was after a trip there for Jimmy Lovell to open the Gay center and to do poetry readings to a group of ardent activist gay men and women looking and finding their place in Atlanta society. Later the volunteering was for Meals on Wheels for AIDS patients and shows that targeted either sick friends or specific AIDS services that were under-funded. Then in Long Island my dear friends Jimmy Lalumia and James Edstrom helped arrange Angie Bowie bares both breasts for AIDS awareness! We do what we can to get interest and sponsor and nurture the sympathy of the public to help us end this incursion on our bodies.
The AidsBeGone.org website will accept orders for both CDS AidsBeGone Volumes 1&2. Jude Rawlins is the executive producer of both albums.
But don’t wait on us. Here are the five accredited AIDS charities - accredited meaning they spend at least 80% of their funds on the mission they have undertaken.

Contributing directly to these charities is another way to go, and please do that; there is no competition as to who can collect the most funds…all we want to see is a result…..no?
